ACERS TENNIS EVENTS
Below are the events and opportunities that Acers Tennis offers.
TEAM
CHALLENGES
Team Challenges offer an introduction to junior tennis competition. Red Ball Challenges are for beginners, still learning to contact the ball and rally. During these events, red ball players will participate in games and fun activities! Orange level challenges are for kids who are able to hold a rally, and may or may not need help with scoring and match etiquette. Green ball players should be competent and comfortable holding a rally from the baseline with a green ball. The orange and green ball levels will primarily consist of fun practice match play and games, with the end goal being to develop a love for the game.

JUNIOR
CIRCUITS
Junior Circuits are an independent step into competition. In a junior circuit, players will participate in a round robin format: playing all players in their bracket (typically 3-4 matches). These events can last up to four hours and require players to keep score and conduct their match play independently. We offer junior circuits at the orange, green and yellow ball levels. These events introduce juniors to competition at a fun and more mature level.

SKILLS
CLINICS
Acers Skills Clinics ensure that players have the foundation for a successful and fun lifetime in tennis. Starting with the red ball level, students learn the basics of the swing and movement. Advancing to orange, children continue to develop their swings, working on consistency and accuracy, and also learn the rules of the game. At the green level, juniors build off of their previous skills, also focusing on placement and strategy. All levels include games along with instruction, at about a 7:1 ratio, as we believe that enjoyment is at the heart of establishing a love for the game.
